Yes you can!
We have a plugin module available (QuizXpress Message Broker) that allows you to receive all sorts of events that are happening within the quiz player through a network communication channel (using plain TCP/UPD ASCII or the UDP/OSC protocol). The type of events you can hook are for example the countdown timer start/stop, someone hits a buzzer, a good/wrong answer was given, the question ended, the score screen is presented, commands from the quizmaster remote control etc. With this module in place you can build a much more advanced experience for your audience where you can integrate for example DMX light controllers, some custom hardware that you may have, special audio equipment, secondary screens connected to other computers etc. You can for example easily integrate with the graphical programming tool Max 7 (created by a company named CYCLING'74) which is widely used in the multimedia industry to drive MIDI devices, DMX lighting setups, Arduino boards, synthesizers and more interesting devices.
This is a licensed module. If you want to know more about this, please drop us a mail.
