When you do not have any buzzers or keypads, it is possible to test drive QuizXpress with our 'Virtual keypads'

In order to do so please take the following steps :

• Start QuizXpress Studio, the quiz creation environment
• On the HOME tab, click on the ‘External’ button. In the dropdown menu that appears you see ‘Virtual keypad’. When you click this, a virtual keypad will be started. You can start multiple virtual keypads to simulate multiple players  (on top of the virtual keypad, assign each keypad a different ID )
• Now click again the ‘External’ button and choose ‘Quiz Setup’. With QuizXpress setup you can configure several settings for the quiz show
• In QuizXpress Setup choose ‘Virtual keypads’ on the main (‘Buzzers’) tab
• In QuizXpress Setup, now go to the ‘Screens’ tab and set the ‘Default window mode’ to ‘Windowed’. This makes sure you see the virtual keypads and the quiz show next to each other. You can also keep the quiz show full screen and hook up a second monitor alternatively.
• Now, create some questions. Please also refer to the quick start which contains some tips for creating your first quiz. To download the quick start guide, please click here
• To run the quiz show, click the ‘Quiz Show’ tab in QuizXpress Studio and press ‘Run Production’
• You will first see the QuizXpress start screen. Press the spacebar to go to the next page.
• On the second page, all players register to the quiz show. Here press any button the virtual keypads to register them\indicate that they will play along in the game.
• Now you can play the quiz with the keypads
