In QuizXpress 4 you can easily move your license to another computer yourself. To do so follow the procedure as outlined below (note: make sure you have stored your license key somewhere before executing this procedure):

Start QuizXpress Studio

Press F1 to open the Info backstage menu:

On the right side you will find the 'Deactivate/Move' button. Click the button and confirm the confirmation message that will appear (note: you must be connected to the internet).

The backstage menu will close so press F1 again to reopen it and confirm that your license is no longer active (see the 'License status' field)

No go to your other computer and activate the software there using the same key.

Notes:

Each key has a reference counter stored at our license server hence it will not be possible to activate another computer without deactivating another and freeing the license first. However, you may have a single key that allows installation on multiple PC's but then again, if you exhaust the amount of allowed activations, you still need to free one first.

If you uninstall the software without deactivating the license first, the license will remain active on the PC. To fix this, re-install the software, deactivate your license and uninstall again.

Please contact us by email if your computer is broken, stolen or corrupted and you can no longer deactivate your license.
